Here is a quick break-down of all six Magic fixtures taking place across this May Bank Holiday weekend as well as their predictor weightings…
Leigh Leopards v Catalans Dragons
What a way to open the 2025 Magic Weekend!
Both sides travel to St. James’ Park looking to make it four wins on the spin, but who are you backing?
Weighted predictions: Leopards (4 points), Dragons (6 points)
Hull KR v Salford Red Devils
The second game on Saturday sees league leaders Hull KR entertain Salford Red Devils.
The Robins have won eight of their last 10 Super League games against their opponents, including a 42-0 victory win earlier this season – their largest ever against the Red Devils.
Salford, however, their last meeting in a Magic fixture (26-16 in June 2023 at St. James’ Park).
Will a high-flying Hull KR, who have won eight out a possible nine Super League matches this season, keep hold of top spot at Magic Weekend?
Weighted predictions: Robins (1 points), Red Devils (9 points)
St Helens v Leeds Rhinos
There’s a showpiece fixture between 5th and 6th in the table to round off Day One of Magic WKND.
Super League heavyweights St Helens and Leeds clash in the closing game on Saturday – and it’s set to be an epic showdown.
The Saints have won 15 of their last 16 Super League matches against the Rhinos, although this will be the first time that the two sides have squared off in a Magic Weekend fixture.
Predictors weightings are locked in and are level for Game Three!
Weighted predictions: Saints (5 points), Rhinos (5 points)
Huddersfield Giants v Hull FC
Did you know that it’s Huddersfield Giants who hold the record for the most Magic Weekend wins in history with 11 victories?
They may be rooted to the bottom of the table and pointless ahead of this Sunday’s meeting with Hull FC, but the Giants certainly know how to raise their game in a Magic setting…
But can they really stop Hull from having a ‘Carty Party’ in the Toon?
The Black & Whites won their most recent Super League match against Huddersfield - 11-10 in Round 3, meaning there could be another close contest on the cards.
Will you take a punt or play it safe? Backing the Giants could bank you nine points if they are victorious!
Weighted predictions: Giants (9 points), Hull FC (1 point)
Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves
One of the standout Magic ties sees Wigan and Warrington reunite on a big stage once more and for the first time since Las Vegas!
This is a fixture that always captures its audience, and things should be no different come Sunday afternoon.
The Warriors have won six of their last seven Super League matches against the Wolves but have won just one of their previous four Magic Weekend fixtures against their opponents – and have in fact lost each of the last two.
Despite this, Wigan remain firm favourites in Predictor for this upcoming tie.
These rivals have met four times in Magic history (2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021).
Both teams enter this game on the back of epic Round 9 wins, setting up what should be a very attractive game of Rugby League in the Northeast…
Weighted predictions: Warriors (3 points), Wolves (7 points)
Castleford Tigers v Wakefield Trinity
A West Yorkshire derby will conclude the 2025 Magic Weekend on Sunday – and there will be no love lost between these two West Yorkshire neighbours.
It’s Castleford and Wakefield’s first Magic meeting in a decade, when they last played each other in the first ever Magic staging at Newcastle in 2015.
They brought the curtain down then and will do the same again this weekend!
Trinity beat the Tigers by a single point in Rivals Round just a fortnight ago – after losing ten home games against them previously.
This will be the seventh Magic Weekend fixture between the sides, with Castleford having won four of their previous six encounters, including each of the last three.
And overall, it’s the Tigers who have a better record at Magic Weekend – they are second in the list behind Huddersfield for all-time Magic wins…
Will we see a repeat of their dramatic Rivals Round clash?
Weighted predictions: Tigers (6 points), Trinity (4 points)
